Firebird AST Team Member Presented with AUSA Award

Firebird AST is proud to support a Federal Law Enforcement Agency as it combats fraud across a wide range of industries and criminal enterprises. One of Firebird AST’s talented employees, Stuart Glasby, was recently recognized by the Department of Justice/Southern District of GA for his outstanding contributions in a joint international investigation between a Federal Law Enforcement Agency and other federal partners. This effort targeted doctors and pharmacies fraudulent billing of prescriptions through Medicare and Medicaid Services in amounts totaling over a billion dollars. To date more than 30 defendants have been prosecuted for their participation in these schemes and several hundred million dollars in assets, including luxury items, have also been seized nationwide, with prosecutions continuing to this day.
