Firebird AST Leadership Attends Prestigious Aspen Security Forum

Managing Partners Randy Lange and Bruce MacNair attended the Aspen Security Forum, the most preeminent security conference in the US which was in person for the first time in 3 years. The forum features non-partisan discussions amongst policy makers, past and present, regarding the security of our nation and its foreign relations with the rest of the world. 

 Topics included issues faced by DHS, the newly created US Space Force, US Strategy in the Indo-Pacific and focus on Latin America, Cyber Threats, AI and purposeful misinformation, Domestic violent extremism and terrorism, the threat from Russia and related sanctions, the evolution and strengthening of NATO, the situation in Afghanistan post US withdrawal, creating more resilient supply chains, improving food security and the overall global economy, the future of and modernization of warfare, and the nature of the 21st century nuclear arms race and others.
